From a home kitchen to a cold-press bottle
Every batch still follows the same slow, cold-pressed process the recipe was built on — no shortcuts, no synthetic fillers, just herbs given the time they need.
A recipe passed down, not invented
Long before Hee Sun was a bottle, it was a jar of oil simmered at home — hibiscus, curry leaf and bhringraj slow-cooked the traditional way to treat thinning hair and a tired scalp within the family.
Store shelves full of shortcuts
Most oils on the shelf leaned on mineral oil and fragrance to feel "rich," while quietly leaving out the herbs that actually did the work. We wanted the opposite: fewer promises, more roots.
32+ herbs, tested the old way
We rebuilt the family blend at a slightly larger scale, keeping every core ingredient — hibiscus, onion, amla, fenugreek, curry leaf, bhringraj — and refusing to dilute it with cheaper base oils.
Still cold-pressed, still paraben-free
Hee Sun now reaches homes beyond the ones it started in, but the process hasn't changed: cold-pressed, paraben-free, and made in small batches so nothing sits on a shelf for too long.
